Oddly Bre

This is a list of 7 odd, unusual, or crazy things about me. I want to learn some things about you too, so feel free to write your own list in the comment box.

1. I hate Feet. Really. I think they are ugly and just gross. I don't even like to touch my own feet. I can do baby feet, but up to age 5 is where I must draw the line. Every thing past 5 is just…ugh!

2. I am an extremely aggressive driver. I don't know if I would say road rage, but for sure aggressive. I don't like to go too slow and I hate to be tailed. I also can't stand when people slow to a stop for a right turn. Other drivers in parking lots really tick me off - that is the only time to drive under 15 mph and most people cruise through as if there is no one WALKING less than 5 yards away.

3. I don't like to be controlled in anyway and I don't like when someone else tells me what to do. At the same time, I am very legalistic and get in a huff when other people don't follow simple rules. The kid who cuts in line at the roller caster - yeah I tell him off. But the attendant who tells me I can't leave my stroller in that spot - he gets and ear full too!

4. I love the show The Biggest Loser. It is very inspirational and totally awesome that these people can make such a huge lifestyle change in such a short time. One of my favorite things to do is cheer on all the contestants every Tuesday night at 8:00 with a bowl of ice-cream and a blanket on the couch.

5. I like to do laundry; it’s the folding of every last article of clothing and putting them all in the proper places that I don’t enjoy. Pretty much the same line of thought can be applied to how I feel about doing the dishes.

6. I love food. Seriously, I love it. I love how most food smells, I love to cook and bake and try new things, and I especially love to eat it. Well, most of it – some things just are not right and should never be served. But pizza…mmmmmm… I could eat pizza every day.

7. I honestly believe a day without dancing, smiling, laughing, and acting goofy has been a day wasted.

I really like to ride quads, eat stromboli, snowboard, and burn couches. Preferably all in the same week.

But things that make me the most excited are:

feet, tailgating people, telling others what to do, making fun of fat people, folding clothes, putting away dishes, and staring at walls all day.

Good to see you read my blog Kenny.

Do you have any friends at all? What a self righteous b***h you are. I would hate to be the man that is under your control. In fact I pity him.

Anonymous,

I hope that slamming me and my husband gave you something to smile about today. Otherwise, it would be a day wasted.

I'm with you on #3. I need much prayer in this area. But check this out. Yesterday, I give a friedly beep to a guy who was backing out into the path my oncoming car. I did this just to say, "Hey watch out, I'm behing you." So what does this punk do when he eventually pulls out and comes up beside me in the intersection? You guessed it, he whips me the middle finger. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I maintained my cool and just started to laugh at him. Which made him more angry, I think. Anyway, it was very hard to keep from getting out of my car and yelling, "What is your problem you little punk?"

Speaking of "what is your problem?" What is anonymous' problem? You are not a self-righteous bitch at all. Whatever anonymous.

I think you and your husband rock! Unfortunate for the unhappy person who finds joy in slamming others. Shake the dust from your feet girl and have an amazing day filled with the light of Christ! Love, your long lost cousin!

Bre,
My first reaction was anger, but I'm sure that must be the reaction that this pathetic "anonymous" person is hoping for, along with hurt feelings. Anybody who has to hide behind the "anonymous" tag can't be much of a person and certainly not one who deserves a second thought - unless we simply pity him/her for being such a miserable representation of humanity. DON'T BE MESSIN' WITH MY NIECE!!!

You are a sorry loser for not saying who you are. Bre is an amazing mom and aunt. She has a husband who adores her and friends that love her. On top of that she has a family that stands behind her. So you really should check your facts before you run your mouth, well I guess fingers in this case. And no, your comments might not be worth the time that I just took to type this out, but My Sister sure is.

Bre, please don't let those nasty anonymous comments bother you! Only those who know you and love you know the truth and those comments couldn't be further from the truth! Love you!

anonymous is code for coward, as I am sure you have seen on my blog with all of the issues that have arisen. Some people want nothing more than to belittle other people. It's one thing to have an opinion, it's another to be plain nasty without apology. Bre, the people who know and Love you dearly are the ones who matter. This person who pretends to know you from a 500 word blog entry is just plain judgemental. I am learning that there are people out there that just sit home and play on their computers browsing around waiting to say something awful about other people. It's what makes them happy. They don't care about being hurtful. I have to tell you that I was reading your entry and laughing to myself because so much of what you had to say applies to me as well. It's really kinda comical. Although, I don't mind feet...he he. I love the Biggest Loser. It's the one show I watch every week and often it's with chips on the couch {that's kinda awful... } And the driving thing...I won't even go there. I think the Lord puts big trucks and senior citizens in front of me all the time just to teach me patience. But anyhow Bre, I love you girl. You are super and whoever coward man is {probably the same one that made all the nasty comments on my blog and others} forget him! I know it's hard and it hurts, but you are so much better!!!! Love ya girl!!

To whom it may concern,
My daughter, Breanna Lyn Moreau Thompson, is a wonderful person who is loved by many people, most of all by her family. She is creative, clever, and an inspiration as a mother.

Just thought you'd like to know...

Bre,
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." matt 5:11-12

you are so bleesed, girl! i for one thing you are a great friend, awesome mom, the best wife! lots of love, sunny,

Thank you guys! I am feeling much better and I have been giving this a lot of thought all day. I am truly sorry if I offended any one; it was only my intention to write a light-hearted and amusing entry. I am not perfect, nor do I pretend or try to be. The Lord is working on me every moment of every day.

Sunny, you are spot on! I AM incredibly blessed. The people who know me best know better! I guess this answers the question anonymous asked. Yes, I have a ton of people who love me and don't think I'm self righteous or a b***h. (I had too)

Amanda, you're right too - some people really do not have anything better to do than brows blogs and leave shameful comments. They hide under "annonymous" because it makes them feel better about being mean to someone they don't even know or are pretending to not know.

Also, to be clear the first comment IS from a friend. He didn't have to leave his name because he knew I would get it. Kenny, you are a dork and Adam and I miss your ugly face!

Anonymous said...

'sunny' (if that is your real name!) the quote you used just doesn't make sense. no one persecuted her because of Jesus!

Bre said...

J.C. -

Yes, Sunny is her name. What difference does it make anyway? Is J.C. your real name? Why do you need to pick on her when you only use initials?

Anonymous, Please don’t pity me. I have the best wife in the world and I love her with all my heart. I think you left that nasty comment because you’re jealous of me or you’re jealous of the relationship that my wife and I share.

I love you Bre!
