Case in point: Just last week I walked into a store and the sales clerk asked how far along I was. I told her I was 16 weeks and she then proceeds to reach out her hand and touch my stomach. A total stranger! And she was touching a personal part of my body like it was perfectly normal and I had known her for years. As if that weren't bad enough she then says, as she is rubbing, "Wow your are really big for 16 weeks" How rude! So I say, "Well... this is my 4th child". She comes back with "Oh! You must have twins at home!" As if no one in this world would possibly want to have 4 children. I just said "No and actually I have three boys all under 7 and I don't really liked to be touched, but thank you for your help". Then I turned and walked out of the store.
So, I've been thinking I need to get a few shirts that let people know just how I feel. I looked around a little bit and I found some that would be perfect. Feel free to pick up any of these for me!!
This one works, but I would charge a heck of a lot more! The bottom says Some things money can't buy. For everything else, you need cold hard cash.

And my two personal favorites...

This one states how I truly feel: If you didn't put this baby in here then don't even think about touching my stomach.

Personally, I like the last two best. I vote for "Touch the Belly - Lose an Arm". It somehow fits you so well .....
Hope you're feeling well. Give my love to Adam and the boys (and my great niece!)
What if someone were to rub your belly with their feet? Would that be okay?
Kenny - you are sick!
That is pretty freakin' rude. I can't imagine doing that to a pregnant woman, especially one I don't know.
I can say I've never wanted to touch your belly Bre, maybe kick your butt, but never touch your belly.
I am a belly toucher. We have oodles of prego's in the office and my favorite one I poke around until I feel the little lady. She doesnt seem to mind and says she doesn't. I love them pregos, especially when you get some solid kicks. Yes, I am a belly poker. I dont think i would do it to a stranger, that woudl be odd.
I understand wanting to feel the baby move, but ask first! And in my case - there is no movement you can actually feel yet.
