Ode to the Toilet

I came across these and wanted to share them with anyone who comes across my blog. There were many that just couldn't make my blog due to the nature of the potty. Let's suffice it to say there are some very creative people out there!

Here's to Japanese food, giant cookies and all things Mexican!

Saturday night was Elizabeth's Bachelorette party. We dined at Shoguns (which was absolutley incredable)then headed to the mall for a bridal scavenger hunt. We had fun killing our feet in our heels as we scurried through the mall trying to find everything on the list. It was twice as much fun watching Liz sort through our findings and I think 100 times more fun watching Cindy's and Debbie's reactions! We ended the evening at Katie's house for some games and even more laughs. It was a good, clean, fun girls night out!

Friendship

Ian, Sunny, and Me taken at the women's retreat. This picture reflects the 2 hours of sleep I got the entire weekend. I really enjoyed spending time with Sunny and getting to know some of the other women from church a little bit better. The retreat gave me time to really put into perspective all that I have been blessed with. One of them being my friendship with Sunny!

CRAZY!

Today is crazy hair day at school. Elijah was more than willing to participate! I think he is starting to overcome some of his shyness - what do you think?

Yesterday was Isaiah's "real" birthday and he let everyone know about it. He also got to decide what we were having for his Birthday dinner. The menu included Spider man mac-n-cheese, peanut butter and jelly, and carrots. One of the more interesting dinners I have had the pleasure of making!

We also went to see the musical at the school last night. The kids did such a good job. It's hard for me to believe that when I first met all of them they were 6 and 7. Now they will soon be hitting the streets in cars they are driving!

Cookies Anyone?

Today they are celebrating Isaiah's birthday at pre-school. He got to bring in snack and guess what he asked to make. Spiderman cookies. Why cookies? Because they are not allowed to bring in cupcakes - which would have been much easier on me! I love to bake with my boys so I told him absolutely we could make Spidey cookies...I just needed to spend some time thinking about how to make Spidey cookies. We mixed up the cookie dough and I still wasn't exactly sure how or if it was going to work. I said a little prayer as Peanut and I rolled out the dough and the rest was smooth sailing! He got his cookies and I got a sore back from bending over the counter icing them. Well, I got some pretty big hugs and kisses also!

Gone Fishing

I have been meaning to post this for a couple weeks now. This was our first fishing trip of the year and Josiah's first trip as a walking member of the family! He isn't the easiest of fishing buddies, but he might just be the cutest. He thinks he is hot stuff and loves to do whatever his older brothers are doing. Elijah and Isaiah had a great time too and being boys, they can never seem to stay out of the water - no matter how cold it is!
